In sad news on Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, actor Paul Walker has died. The actor known mostly for the franchise “The Fast and the Furious” died on Saturday afternoon from a single-car accident and explosion out in Southern California, according to TMZ.

Paul Walker was just 40-years-old.
UPDATE 8: A rep for Paul Walker confirms to TMZ the actor died today in the crash after leaving a charity event.

UPDATE 7: As of 10:16 p.m. EST, MTV, Business Insider, People, and Variety have all reported of Paul Walker’s death.

UPDATE 5: CNN has reported on television of Paul Walker’s death and now TVLine’s Michael Ausiello has reported it as well.
UPDATE 4: As of 9:50 p.m. EST, US Weekly has now reported that Paul Walker has died and it is not another celebrity death hoax. There is still no word from his representatives.
UPDATE 3: As of 9:45 p.m. EST, Paul Walker’s death has been reported by TMZ, Just Jared, New York Daily News, Global Grind, Global News, Gossip Cop, and Media Mass.
UPDATE 2: Confirmation of Paul Walker’s death has still not come, but his official website is currently unavailable at this time.
UPDATE: Rumors have been circulating the past couple of days that Paul Walker had died and it proved to be an Internet hoax. At this time, the story from TMZ is still said to be developing.
TMZ reports that the accident happened in Santa Clarita, which is just north of Los Angeles.
Multiple sources that are connected to Walker in some form said that he was out in his brand new Porsche when he somehow lost control of the vehicle. From there, his Porsche slammed into what is said to be either a post of some sort or a tree.
At that point, the car immediately burst into flames in an explosion.
TMZ states that a number of sources are still on the scene and some have even posted pictures of the fiery crash on Twitter.
It is being said that Walker and another person – a unidentified male – were in the vehicle at the time of the car crash and were both killed. Police from Los Angeles and the Los Angeles county Coroner’s Office are on the way to the scene at this time.
Word is that Walker was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
Paul Walker was said to be in Santa Clarita for a car show to support the Philippines typhoon relief effort. He last tweeted on Friday afternoon about the same thing.
The death hoax of Paul Walker has been circulating for the past week, but his reps have confirmed that his death is true.
