Paul Walker was not a victim of a death hoax. Sadly, the actor has died following a fiery car crash in Calif. Shortly after his death was confirmed on Nov. 30, a video of the scene of the accident in Rye Canyon was posted on YouTube.
“Looks to be either a red Porsche or Ferrari that crashed at a very high rate of speed killing the driver and passenger in Valencia this afternoon. The car was attending a charity car show for the Toys for Tots toy drive (sic),” wrote the man who posted the video.
Paul Walker died after the Porsche he was riding in hit a tree and exploded. The car was left in a mangled mess after it caught on fire. Walker and another person were killed. There are conflicting reports about who was driving the vehicle. Some say that Walker was behind the wheel and others say that he was a passenger in the car. Details about how or why the driver lost control were not immediately clear.
“When they arrived, deputies found the vehicle engulfed in flames. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded, extinguished the fire and subsequently located two victims inside the vehicle. The victims were pronounced dead at the scene,” read a statement from the police department (via People Magazine).
Many thought Paul Walker’s death was a hoax but the news has been confirmed by his team and his rep. The accident only involved one car and occurred around 3:30 p.m.
