The mid-season premiere episode is titled “New York City Serenade” and as fans can guess, the “serenade” part has to do with wooing a certain someone. On the last episode after Regina gave Emma and Henry new and happier memories, there was a knock on the door. Somehow Hook had managed to escape from his fairy tale world and insisted that Emma come with him because the fairy tale creatures needed her help. Of course she had no recollection of any of her old friends or Storybrooke. He seemed even crazier to her when he decided to plant a big kiss on her lips. All that got him was a knee in the groin and the door slammed in his face.
Sources say that when the show returns, Hook will continue to try to get Emma to remember. She will feel a strong connection to him, but she won’t understand why. He will end up getting arrested and she will bail him out. He will either succeed at getting her to remember or she will satisfy her curiosity and find out what his deal is because she, Henry and Hook will pack up their bags and go for a road trip.
The next episode is titled “Witch Hunt” and that obviously has to do with the newest villain, The Wicked Witch. It is unknown at this time if she has some sort of connection with any of the characters, but fans are speculating that she is related to Regina. The characters will travel to Oz, but will have to wait and see if they end up meeting Dorothy.
Then there is “The Tower” which has to do with Rapunzel. Alexandra Metz has been cast to play the lady with the incredibly long hair, but “OUAT” writers often take traditional fairy tales and give them modernized twists and turns that make them interesting.
Episode 15 is titled “Quiet Minds” and it is difficult to figure out what this title means, but Enstars reported that it could be a “Belle-centric” episode. A recent spoiler indicated that a new character will be added to that episode. Apparently it is a “Lumiere-like character” named Lawrence. For those that know their fairy tales, Lumiere had a French accent, was a piece of silverware and had a “know-it-all” attitude.
“Once Upon a Time” season 3 will return on March 9.
