Whether you’re taking your makeup off in the First Class cabin of a transatlantic flight, in an Airstream headed across the US or chez vous, you want convenience, effectiveness and predictable, healthy results. I’ve been in situations away from home where my cleanser wasn’t doing anything and I had to raid my host’s kitchen cabinet for cooking oils. Eeek!
Or, how about those cleansers that make a lot of claims . . . but they left off the description of “irritating”? Boo.
When you’re traveling, especially, you really want your skin to be at its best, even if you’re spending the least amount of time on it. That’s why I was very happy to be hosted to experience KohGenDo Cleansing Water Cloth!
This is what they say about it:
Cleansing Water now in easy wipes!
Wipes away water proof ingredients in makeup and even sun tan lotions. Our gentle, but effective cleaner is now in an organic cotton cloth (certified organic in Japan).
Remove makeup easily while nourishing skin.
Gently remove even waterproof makeup and skin impurities in a single sweep with mineral-rich Cleansing Spa Water.
Made with the thermal water from Yumura Hot Springs in Izumo, Japan. Where pure water, rich with skin-absorbing nutrients, replenishes and rejuvenates as it cleanses. White Birch Sap, harvested only three weeks in early spring, contributes an abundance of minerals and xylitol as it lifts off makeup, oils and residue. No washing or rinsing required.
Perfectly convenient for on-location makeup artists and busy on-the-go women. Oil-free. Safe for contact lens wearers.
Infused with six essential herbs to protect and nurture skin
- Rosemary Leaf Extract
- Sage Leaf Extract
- Lavender Extract
- Artemisia Princeps Leaf Extract
- Perilla Ocymoides Leaf Extract
- Ginger Root Extract
This is what I say about it:
It’s so great for traveling! It doesn’t need to be put into your 3-1-1 bag, so that’s terrific. You can take them anywhere, so if you’re going to a dusty, sandy or grungy location — perhaps at an exotic location or even a dusty antique store — you can whip them right out, take care of your skin!
They’re refreshing in an appropriate way: not lemony or menthol-y. You can even use them on your throat and decolleté. They don’t have a powerful fragrance that will announce to the world, “Hey! I just washed up!”
Their ingredients are non-irritating, so you don’t have to worry about odd reactions away from home . . . instead, you’ll be at your best for photos, meeting new people, seeing new sights.
