Over the course of the next two weekends both two-legged and four-legged family members will have the opportunity to pose for pictures with Santa Paws, with all proceeds going to help with vet care for homeless dogs while they wait for their forever homes.
The DAWG (Dog Adoption and Welfare Group) annual fundraiser will start this Saturday, December 7 at Samy’s Camera, 614 Chapala, in downtown Santa Barbara. The following Saturday, December 14, Santa Paws will be at the Dioji K9 Resort and Athletic Club, 822 E. Yanonali.
The hours for both events will be from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Because DAWG is a no-kill adoption shelter, keeping dogs as long as it takes to be placed in caring homes, they are reliant on events such as these and your donations. So stop on by, it doesn’t matter if you’ve been naughty or nice.
For further information on the event, email: email@example.com or give them a call at 805-681-0561
And, of course, if you’re interested in adding a four-legged member to your family, visit DAWG’s website at http://www.sbdawg.org/our-dawgs/dawgs-awaiting-adoption for a host of loveable pooches just waiting to warm your heart. (Most will fit right under your Christmas tree!)
Check out the attached slideshow for just a few of the adoptable dogs currently available. Or, better yet, come see them in person at DAWG, 5480 Overpass Road, Goleta, just off Patterson.
