The pro-independence Baloch Republican Party has strongly condemned the brutal murder of a 10-year-old Baloch by the Pakistan army. The victim was identified as Chakar Baloch, son of Khuda Dost. He was abducted by the personnel of Pakistan military from Fish Market, Turbat, hometown of Balochistan chief minister Malik Baloch on January 7 and his badly tortured and mutilated dead body was recovered from the Kornadi area yesterday. “The ruthless murder of Chakar Baloch is the height of brutalities imposed on Baloch people by the terrorist state of Pakistan and its terrorist forces since the illegal occupation of Balochistan,” B.R.P. spokesman Sher Mohammed Bugti said in s a statement from Geneva. “Abductions, torture and extrajudicial murders of innocent Baloch civilians is taking place on daily basis in Balochistan,” he added.
According to human right groups and the media, armed forces and intelligence agencies of Pakistan target the Baloch civilians, regardless of their age, gender and profession, and torture them in the military torture cells for days, weeks, months or even years and finally their riddled with bullets mutilated dead bodies are dumped on roadsides and desolated areas. The Amnesty International and Human Rights Watch have called this practice kill-and-dump policy. “The state atrocities in Balochistan, specially targeting of civilians during military offensives, abduction and custodial killings of Baloch activists and youths, and now children should be an eye-opener for the so-called allies of the terrorist state of Pakistan which has been fooling the international community in the name of so-called war on terror,” Mr. Bugti said.
Pakistan is the breeding ground for terrorists and it exports terrorism not only in the neighboring countries but the entire world, Mr Bugti said. “We strongly urge the international community and western powers to withdraw every kind of support and aid to this inhumane state and play their due role to end the ongoing brutal genocide of Baloch people by the Pakistani state and its forces,” Mr, Bugti said. The chief minister of Balochistan, Malik Baloch, who is a native of Turbat has kept quiet on the brutal killings of his constituents. Baloch patriots and youths accuse him of being hands in gloves with Pakistan’s Inter-Services Intelligence, Military Intelligence and Frontier Corps. Malik Baloch faces total boycott of the Baloch people not only in Pakistan but also overseas because he is seen smiling with the army generals and Punjabis even while his people are being killed.
