The U.S. government is increasingly showing its deep-set, abiding fear of free citizens who are armed. This fear is expressed in the paranoia that is noted on a continuing basis in the halls of federal and state governments, which seek to rob citizens of their firearms and restrict their ability to live in liberty.
Free speech is routinely attacked using a variety of methods. A free press is oppressed by government snoops and bullying tactics designed to silence reporters and citizens who blow the whistle on government lawlessness. Freedom of religion is directly attacked by Obamacare, which forces people of faith to fund abortions and other methods of birth control.
The new “Common Core” curriculum being required in public schools has gotten in on the paranoia, asking students, “Since the Bill of Rights in the Constitution is outdated, which two rights would you delete if you had the chance?”
But a concerned patriot wrote a private correspondence to WRSA in which he delineates the remedy for this growing deadly disease that has afflicted the U.S. government, particularly since 2006.
First, however, it is important to briefly consider some background information.
The founding documents of the last half of the 18th century concerning the newly established American Republic make clear that government only has that power which is granted by the “consent of the governed.”
This precept is what separates a free society from an enslaved society run by tyrants. In a free society government has no power except what is given to it willingly by a free people. Those same free people can withdraw their consent, thus severely restricting the power and actions of their government.
An enslaved, tyrannical society, on the other hand, is run by an individual or a group of individuals whose actions make them “the ruling elites.” They seize power and govern by edicts no matter what the people want. They trample on the rights of the people for their own personal gain.
George Soros, the collectivist billionaire who has funded Obama, Hillary Clinton, and dozens of organizations aimed at snuffing out the light of freedom, told Obama in 2010 that he would need to use the executive order to get around the roadblocks that Congress would throw in his way. This is precisely what he has done.
The people, therefore, become “subjects” rather than free citizens. And subjects are always subservient to the wishes and whims of their masters, in this case, the tyrants in government.
The United States is now becoming “fundamentally changed” into such a tyrannical government that is run by ruling elites who view us, the citizens, as their subjects. We are on the brink of becoming another oppressive state along with past examples, such as the Communists who ruled the Soviet Union, Cuba, and China, and the Nazis who ruled Germany, who called themselves “National Socialists.”
In practice there is no difference at all between Communists, Nazis, Fascists, dictators, or sovereign monarchies. They all are totalitarian and based on the notion of ultimate centralized power in the hands of a few elitists at the top. Thus, the old paradigm that describes Communism as “ultra leftwing” and Nazis as “ultra rightwing” is not valid. Such a paradigm fails to take into consideration the numerous ways in which all of these totalitarian, collectivist forms of government are alike.
American progressivism, which is often called “liberalism” or “leftwing politics,” is similar to the totalitarian systems mentioned above. In order for the progressive to succeed in getting his agenda approved, he must essentially shove it down the throats of the people whether they consent or not. Progressives gave us Prohibition, for example, along with presidents Woodrow Wilson and Franklin Delano Roosevelt, both of whom stated in speeches before they were elected that the Constitution is a major roadblock to their agenda. That shared sentiment alone makes both nothing but tyrants. Gradually the progressive agenda has taken root and grown in American society with leaders such as Lyndon Baines Johnson, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, both George H.W. and George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and a group of elitists who run both the Democratic and Republican Parties in Washington.
A concerned patriot who wrote a private correspondence to the WRSA provides the remedy for this deeply disturbing state of affairs. Withdraw your consent, he declares.
If in a free America our system of government is based only on the consent of the governed, then it is time for the citizens to exercise their Constitutional right to withdraw their consent, not from Constitutional principles but from the charlatans who have infiltrated not only elected office but the vast, permanent federal bureaucracy that is unelected and therefore not accountable to the people.
The writer states,
It is the elites sowing of disorder, doubt, Potemkin fantasy, the shell game system of big lies, crisis as means for manipulating and socially engineering, scandal as camouflage, purposefully deceiving continuously, overwhelming the body of the people, to wear them down, discourage them, disenfranchise them, manipulate them, make some subservient, creating classes of useful dupes, using fear as a lever to manipulate and instill false narratives, obfuscating the truth, creating but a fig leaf of legitimacy, to distract people from the truth it is they themselves who hold all the power. Truth it is the people who grant power. Not the other way around.
And all you have to do is believe.
And if you can, so can others.
It is the people’s sacred prerogative to distinguish what is legitimate and what is not.
There is comfort and security in believing as others, and knowing the truth.
Such a simple thing when the lies and obfuscations are stripped away.
Consent is yours as sure as your soul.
Withdrawal of consent costs nothing.
In other words, just say no. Say no to the edicts of the ruling class. This country was never meant to have a ruling class. The people, the voters, the citizens, are the final authority under God. You can withdraw your consent from the elected and unelected tyrants. And you can casually inform your friends, family, and neighbors that they, too, can withdraw their consent. This is our ultimate right as Americans. We are not slaves to any government, not even our own.
The writer continues,
Withdrawal of consent costs nothing.
But it gains everything.
It requires no political party or entity.
You don’t vote for it.
It isn’t granted.
You don’t need permission to use it.
It requires not official sanction.
Indeed, what higher sanction than the natural born law of self determination, free thought, and will.
Jefferson believed these things. So did Washington, Mason, Henry, and Franklin. And this is what scares the living daylights out of the modern despots in our government who believe that the power to grant and remove rights rests with them. No, they are wrong. Rights are God-given and cannot be negated although a government may decide not to recognize nor protect them.
Citizens who believe with all of their hearts the precepts contained in the words above are viewed as a major threat to government tyrants today. And this is why the citizenry must wave these precepts in their faces. We are armed to the hilt. We will not start a war. But if fired upon first, we will defend ourselves by any means necessary.
Why? Because we do not consent to tyranny. We do not consent to the collectivist schemes of those who currently occupy our government. We do not consent to Obamacare, to the loss of our privacy, to the spying being done to us by secretive entities, to the attempt to tax us into oblivion and to run roughshod over our property rights. We do not consent to limits on free speech, free assembly, freedom of religion, or a free press. And we do not consent to being lied to incessantly by our nation’s leaders.
All it takes is 3 percent of the population to rise up against government tyranny in order to stop it. Our Founders did exactly that. A mere 3 percent of the population at the time formed the Revolutionary army, and that was enough to defeat the most dangerous, well-equipped army in the world — that of the British empire.
Again, the writer offers these sobering, yet hopeful words:
We are a nation today of approx. 315,469,000 people.
315 million Americans.
3% of this population figures out to a plurality of 9,464,070 sovereign Americans.
That is, nine million, four hundred sixty four thousand, seventy people.
No wonder those out to fundamentally destroy America, and those who enable and assist their bidding, are afraid of our arms, the tea party, the liberty movement, anyone who is not cowed or afraid of the monopoly of force or the illegitimate power of the present form of our government.
They are afraid of what the plurality will do to them for what they are doing to the plurality.
They are right to be afraid of the existential threat an aroused plurality represents to their power to rule over us. They are cunning in their pogrom of painting those who constitute the plurality of the people as domestic terrorists and enemies of the state. It is indicative of the extra-constitutional use of lawless diktat and regulatory fiat, that where legitimacy is paramount and systemic as a primal function of our government, there is no need or use of diktat or fiat. Legitimacy is a natural state.
It is way past time to withdraw our consent.
